Privacy Policy

Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the information those services share with us (typically name and email).

Usage data. We collect information about how you use the App: drill results (correct / incorrect answers), session timestamps, streak data, accuracy per algorithm, and features you interact with. This data drives the spaced repetition and progress-tracking features.

Purchase data. Subscription purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but do not receive or store your full payment details.

Device & diagnostic data. We may collect device type, operating system version, app version, crash reports, and performance logs to diagnose bugs and improve the App.

Communications. If you contact us for support, we retain your messages to respond and improve our service.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App and its features
• Personalize your experience (e.g., spaced repetition review queue)
• Process and verify subscription status
• Send you service-related notifications (e.g., streak reminders)
• Respond to your support requests
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security issues
• Comply with legal obligations
• Analyze aggregate, anonymized usage trends to inform product decisions

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We share your information only in limited circumstances:

Service providers. We use third-party services to operate the App, including cloud hosting, database storage, analytics, and crash reporting. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality obligations. Current key providers include:

• Supabase (authentication and database)
• Apple and Google (in-app purchase processing, sign-in)

Legal requirements. We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred. We will provide notice before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We retain your account and usage data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., resolving disputes, fraud prevention).

Anonymized, aggregated usage data may be retained indefinitely.

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data:

• Access & portability: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data. You can initiate this directly in the App (Settings → Delete account) or by emailing us.
• Opt-out of notifications: You can disable push notifications in your device settings at any time.

LeetPattern is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encrypted data transmission (TLS), access controls, and periodic security reviews.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take it seriously.

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., the App Store or Google Play). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use.

Your information may be stored and processed in servers located outside your country of residence. By using the App, you consent to such transfers. We take steps to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised policy in the App and update the effective date. If the changes are material, we will provide additional notice (e.g., an in-app notification). Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
